Reviews

"Due to an unforeseen situation, Stuart recently stepped in as a singing teacher for our two children, and specifically during the final stages of our daughter's Grade 5 ABRSM singing exam preparations. Stuart helped her to secure a "Distinction".
Stuart is extremely reliable and professional. He is very focused and goal-oriented during the lessons, and gives clear feedback to both our children and us, the parents. We particularly appreciate and trust his assessment and advice on the potential of our childrens' voices, and his approach to reaching this potential over time.
We are now looking forward to him teaching both our children in the months and years to come."

I've been working with Stuart for around 2 months now and I can clearly see a difference in my ability. He's easy going and creates a safe environment, with no judgement. I would definitely recommend him to anyone for a fun filled lesson that leaves you excited for what's to come

Stuart started teaching shortly after completing his undergraduate studies at the RNCM. He started working with Chant Productions on a project to have children singing at various Rugby League World Cup matches. Stuart led the project to prepare five different sets of school children to sing at the group match between England and Ireland.

Another large project for Stuart was in Mossley in West Yorkshire. Stuart was employed by Mossley Hollins High School to go to Primary Schools in the local area to promote choral singing. This was hugely successful for two years, where Stuart prepared the children to sing in a Christmas concert at the high school.

Stuart worked at 13 Performing Arts in Manchester, which is headed by Coronation Street actor, Jack Shepherd. He worked here for two years, working on musical theatre repertoire in one to one classes, group classes, and whole school sessions. He was heavily involved in the preparation of public performances including Christmas shows, musicals, and pantomimes.

Whilst studying for his masters, Stuart elected to take a teaching module with the educational company 'Artis'. Here Stuart attended seminars and group workshops to help with teaching techniques and classroom management. The module included assisting in sessions at local schools with Artis teachers. When Stuart completed his masters, he went to work for Artis as a workshop leader.

Stuart currently teaches with the Richmond Music Trust, Primary Robbins (Grange Park Opera's outreach programme), and has a large client base of private pupils in West London.

Stuart not only is a professional singer, but he is also a keen classical guitarist. Since moving to London, Stuart has explored working as a beginner/intermediate guitar teacher. He has worked for the Merton Music Foundation teaching at a local primary school. He also has a large private client base in west and north London.
